This is a trailer video to introduce a colloquium talk regarding my diploma thesis, which explores bio-inspired computational processes that allow complex high-level swarms to arise from low-level swarmers - automatically. The resulting behaviors turn out to be fascinating close to those observed in nature - but for they are synthetical, there are more ways to analyze them. The topic is "Distributed Evolutionary Optimization of Swarms".
